Renting

Inquiries regarding the current and upcoming availability of rooms can be directed to the Foundation representative. See also Available student accommodation.

New tenants are required to fill in their personal and student data on the Foundation’s website (See: application form)

The application can be submitted to the queue, but due to the low turnover of tenants, we cannot give any estimates of the waiting time.

The leases are signed for a fixed period of time or until further notice.  The rent collected for the rooms follows the guidelines approved by the Board of the Foundation.  The rent is tied to the consumer price index, and the rent charged for the current lease is reviewed each year at the beginning of September.

The apartments are fully furnished, and the rent includes an internet connection and a moderate electricity consumption.  The tenant is required to give a deposit equal to one month’s rent, which will be reimbursed at the conclusion of the lease subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

All rental agreements are automatically terminated should tenants discontinue their studies at the Sibelius Academy.
